He has held executive and senior manager positions at Shadin Avionics, AAR Corp., Jet Aviation (General Dynamics), Mercury Aviation (Atlantic Aviation), Garrett-AiResearch (Allied-Signal/GE/Standard Aero) and Tracor Aerospace (BAE), as well as several start-up and growth companies. Bob Donaldson

Experience: Bob Donaldson has over 25 years of experience in the creative application of technology and innovative processes to streamline operations and deliver business value.  
As Founder and Principal at Carson Strategy Group, Mr. Donaldson has defined and implemented strategic technology solutions for companies in a variety of industries.  His specialties include language technologies, globalization readiness assessment, and both project and organizational turn-around efforts.
While at McElroy Translation, Mr. Donaldson defined and implemented a technology roadmap that led to substantial operational efficiencies and also opened up new market opportunities based on machine translation and managed crowdsourcing.  He also led McElroy’s “Glocal” initiative, establishing a global network of partnerships to expand capacity.  Mr. Donaldson is a recognized industry leader in language technology integration and a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
At Carson Strategy Group, Mr. Donaldson has led strategic engagements resulting in measurable business value to a variety of clients.  Examples include:
  • Matrixware Information Services GmbH – Managed a successful pilot project for machine translation of Chinese language patents and developed a business plan for commercializing the capability.
  • Temple-Inland Forest Products – Engaged to “rescue” an order-to-cash software development project that was late and over budget; as a result of his leadership, the project was successfully deployed on the revised target date.
  • Sydcor – As acting Director of Systems Strategy, defined and implemented a customer information portal strategy for a rapidly growing $12M+ post-manufacturing product support business.  The system positioned Sydcor for a successful bid on a large product recall project for a key client.
  • Connected Wireless – As acting Product Manager, developed marketing requirements and materials for a remote asset management system; efforts resulted in a multi-million dollar sole-source award from US Army Logistics.
While at Digital Motorworks, Mr. Donaldson successfully led the 160+ member professional services and support organization through a complete reorganization in order to align the service delivery with customer expectations and needs.  The organization cut delivery time for new projects and improved customer satisfaction scores.  At PSW Technologies, he managed a profitable business services department and pioneered a successful project assessment practice serving customers such as Ameritech, McDonalds and Kemper Insurance.  While at Radian Corporation, Mr. Donaldson held technical, sales and management positions as he helped grow a 6-person database application group into a 200-person custom software development business.
Happily married with two grown children, Mr. Donaldson is a long-distance runner and avid reader (mostly history).  He also speaks several languages and travels extensively, bringing a global perspective to his consulting and problem-solving activities.

Charles Pestow, Jr.

Chuck Pestow has over 15 years of Engineering, Procurement, and Sales experience at global companies such as TRW, Weyerhaeuser Paper, and Dell. From June 2010 through March 2012 he held the position of Director, Global Operations covering Procurement, Program Management and Sales Operations functions at KLD Energy Technologies. Chuck earned his BS of Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, his MS of Science and Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin, and currently holds four U.S. Patents.

Charlie Winder

Charlie Winder, Partner, LGE Execs, is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of operations management and leadership experience. Charlie has been a partner with LGE Execs since 2007, specializing in supply chain management and university technology commercialization. From 2001 thru 2006, Charlie was employed by Quanta Computer Inc where his most recent assignment was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Overseas Business Unit. In this role, he led all Quanta configuration and service centers in the United States and Europe. Prior to joining Quanta, Charlie was employed by Compaq Computer Corporation as Vice President of Operations, North America, where he managed a work force of 7,000 employees and over $10 billion dollars in annual revenue. Charlie holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University, M.B.A. from the University of Houston, and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University.

Christopher Gehring

Chris Gehring is a well rounded executive with deep experience in Sales and Business Operations, cross functional execution and information technology.  Holding leadership roles in Fortune 100 companies, midsized businesses as well as owning a small business has given Chris a breadth of knowledge and understanding which is both valuable and unique.
During his 10 years with Dell Computer Corp. Chris held managerial and director level positions in IT, International Operations, Sales Operations and Internet Development.  He was integral in the start up of six International Business Units as well as the implementation of business operation systems and processes across the globe.
After his time at Dell, Chris has held executive level positions with smaller technology, services and consumer product firms as well as owning The Party Cat, an online and brick and mortar retail stationery store which his wife co-owns and operates.  In these roles Chris has gained valuable experience in financial, sales and marketing functions.
Chris is married with two teenage children from whom he learns something every day.  He enjoys reading, tennis, golf and skiing.
